Doubtful Sound, Fiordland National Park

We treated ourselves with  an awesome (and expensive) overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound, in Fiordland National Park. It's south of the better-known Milford Sound, and to get there you have to go across Lake Manapouri (they also have a huge underground hydroelectric power station there), and then over a mountain pass to get on the boat in Doubtful.  It was an amazing couple of days.

Amazing day! After an early morning and a long boat/bus/boat ride back to Manapouri, and with two full tummies, we drove three hours to Queenstown to continue our adventure.
